Liz Earle Cleanse & Polish™ Hot Cloth Cleanser

Liz Earle Cleanse & Polish™ Hot Cloth Cleanser($24.50 for 100ml, 3.3 fl.oz) has been my new favorite cleanser to take off makeup, dirt & other gunk out at the end of the day. I've been using it for almost 4 weeks now and totally loving it. I sometimes use it in the morning too, but usually love to use it at the end of the day.
"Our plant-based cleanser has a 2-phase action, phase 1 is the cleansing. Free from mineral oil, it has a rich and creamy texture and swiftly removes all traces of face and eye make-up, even stubborn mascara."

The texture of this cleanser is quite thick, very creamy and does not foam. There is a mild smell, that is not bothersome at all. The pump action makes it easy to get the product out. I massage it all over my face & neck for a good 2 minutes and then warm up the muslin cloth with hot water and remove the cleanser gently. More than anything else, I think massaging the cleanser works like magic since that is what loosens up the most stubborn makeup(waterproof too!) and the hot cloth gently lifts everything away. It sure does look like an extra step compared to using foaming cleansers but trust me, it is soooo totally worth it! Once I'm done cleansing with this, I splash my face with a lots n lots of water as the last step. It does not dry out my skin at all but, I still follow up with a toner/moisturizer. Every cleanser comes with a pair of muslin cloths - just make sure to rinse it well after every use to avoid bacterial growth. I usually machine wash it after 3 uses.

Overall, it is one of the best cleansers I have used in months & excellent for my dry, sensitive skin. Since there is no mineral oil, I don't have to worry about clogged pores either. It's gentle on my skin and removes every last trace of makeup, gently exfoliating at the same time. The practical packaging makes it travel-friendly too! What more could I ask for? Highly Recommended!!! I just wish it was more readily available in stores.
