LUSH The Sacred Truth Fresh Face Mask

The Sacred Truth is a fresh face mask from Lush that claims to protects skin from ageing, delivering a fresh complexion. I've heard so many great things about this mask but, I was always never inclined to try it for some reason, until recently.

This one smells really fresh but, strong. It contains a lot of good for your skin ingredients like papaya, green tea and nutritious butters. Sadly, I don't see this mask doing anything great for my skin. I've tried it about 3 times now and it doesn't do anything visibly nice to my skin. My skin just looks like I washed it with a basic cleanser. I can probably get the same results with a cold water rinse. I don't see a brighter complxion and neither does it moisturize that well. It does feel quite drying afterward so, I need to slather on moisturizer.

This is one of my least favourite masks from Lush. It may work if you have combination skin and all you need is a little balancing and nothing else.Get it if you like the concept of a face mask that lets you pamper and relax for a bit and are not expecting miracles to happen.

Have you tried LUSH The Sacred Truth Fresh Face Mask?

  5. I've never bothered with Lush's face masks. They're too pricey for me, and I like Origins Charcoal Mask well enough to not want to buy a Lush mask.

I also own Pangea Organics Japanese Acai face mask, which I have yet to try! :P I should grow a 2nd head so I can try out more products.

  6. I hate buying full size face products that end up being a disappointment :/
I haven't tried their masks yet, as in Greece where I lived there was a line of fresh cosmetics that I always preferred!
