Sonia Kashuk Holiday 2011 : All Out Glam 6-piece Brush Set

All Out Glam($24.99) is a limited-edition 6-piece Brush Set by Sonia Kashuk for the holidays. The bling-y design and festive packaging makes it a great gift too. I was worried if the brushes would feel very heavy because of the design but no, they feel the same way as the other brushes from the core collection, light-weight yet, sturdy.

The clutch has room for a lot more than just these brushes and comes handy while traveling too. Here's what's in the kit:

Powder/Blush Brush - I Love to use this with medium sized brush with loose finishing powders. Picks up product well and feels really soft.

Pointed Foundation Brush - Great for applying & blending in concealer for dark circles. I also like to use this to blend foundation at the sides of the nose and apply highlighters down the bridge of the nose.

Small Duo Fibre Brush - It's a great brush for applying foundation for a flawless, airbrushed look. The small size makes it a lovely pick for super pigmented blushes too. However, this brush did shed quite a bit upon washing the first time. It also left a few strands of hair on my hair while blending!

Eyeshadow Brush - A regular flat eye shadow brush with moderately stiff bristles that help pack on cream and powder shadows. Works well with loose shadows too.

Angled Contour Crease Brush - I like to use this more to blend shadows under my brow bone and to place color on my outer corners than for crease work. The shape fits well into my eye socket but, I prefer a fluffier brush for my crease.
Pointed Eye Liner Brush - I always use the bent eyeliner brush for gel liners to get a very precise, sharp, winged look. Also since I prefer something more stiff, like a pencil brush for my lower lash line to smudge my eyeliner, I use this for pin point concealing and applying eye shadow to areas like the inner corners.

The brushes are made from a combination of synthetic bristles and cruelty free pony and goat hair. Like most brush kits from the line, this one too is great value for money since everything is full size and good quality.

Available in silver & black for a limited time at all Target stores and online at Target.com

  1. Not a fan of the handles, but I have 3 other SK brushes that I really like, so I would think this set would be good as well.
