Sally Hansen Salon Effects Real Nail Polish Strips - Spring Fever, Laced Up

Sally Hansen Salon Effects Real Nail Polish Strips($9) have some new designs out for Spring/Summer. These designs are perfect if you like nail art but hate the effort involved. I'm not a big fan of nail art, I prefer plain old polish but, I do like the concept of these effortless polish strips!

These nail polish strips come with a cuticle pusher, a nail file and 16 strips per pattern/color. Check out this post for more pictures and a full review. Also since I have very short nails, I cut some of the strips in half and use them for a couple of fingers. If you have pretty long nails, you'll still have to file off quite a bit of the excess.

L-R : Laced Up, Spring Fever

"Laced Up" reminds me of shatter polishes. The black and beige lace pattern is great for short nails. "Spring Fever" is a beautiful, floral pattern that is perfect for this time of the year. This gorgeous pattern would look amazing against a tan. As far as the wear time goes, these lasted about 6 days on me after which they started to peel off a little than chip. Still pretty good since most polishes stay on for about 3 days on an average before they start to chip!

Have you tried the Sally Hansen Salon Effects Real Nail Polish Strips?

  1. I love your idea of cutting them in half. I got a package of these this past winter, but haven't tried them yet. There were a bunch of spring patterns at my Target on clearance, btw.

    1. Thanks for letting me know. And yeah, cutting them in half works out well for my short nails and I get a lot of use out of one pack that way :D :D
