AHAVA Time To Clear Eye Makeup Remover

AHAVA's new bi-phase eye makeup remover is a gentle, water & oil based remover formulated with moisturizing and soothing ingredients like aloe vera, cucumber extract.

Like most dual-phase makeup removers, the bottle needs to be shaken up to activate the formula. Although this is a non-rinse cleanser, I do find that it leaves a little bit of an oily residue so, I go over with a face wash after I'm done. I've tried a lot of dual formulas like this one and I must say that this is very gentle even on my sensitive skin. A single swipe actually manages to get most of the eye makeup out. I see traces of waterproof eyeliner here and there, for which, I use a q-tip to remove but, it is gone for the most part. The remover also doesn't sting my eye if I accidentaly get it in there and I haven't had any allergic reactions to it either!

Eyeshadow, Eyeliners and a Lipstain (because it is the toughest to remove), after 1 swipe

Overall, the AHAVA Time To Clear Eye Makeup Remover is a quick, gentle and effective way to remove eye makeup but, be sure to go over with another cleanser to remove the little traces it leaves behind. If your under eye area tends to be dry, this does not dry it out further which is great for people like me with sensitive skin. My only gripe is that it does not have a proper dispenser, rather the product dispenses directly from the bottle which makes it not so travel friendly.

AHAVA Time To Clear Eye Makeup Remover ($18) is paraben and fragrance-free.
