Essence Sun Club 100% Splash-proof Eyeliner Pen

The Essence Sub Club 100% Splash-proof Eyeliner Pen ($3.49) is a liquid eyeliner pen with an ultra fine precision tip, a new launch from Essence for Fall. The eyeliner also claims to be 100% Splash and Waterproof.

The packaging is very sleek and the fine tip helps with a thin line, precise line close to the lash line. The tip is quite firm so there's enough control for a thick or thin line. As for the color, '01 Ultra Black' is a jet black with a little bit of sheen to it once dry. I've been using this for quite sometime now and inspite of not storing it upside down, it still hasn't dried out. Also since it is quite pigmented, a single swipe is all you need for a deep, dark line. I do think that it is splash-proof and water resistant to an extent but not waterproof. It washes off easily with water. In fact, you could completely remove it off with a gentle cleanser or just plain water.

Overall, if you like convenient liner pens that last a few hours with good color payoff, the Essence Sun Club 100% Splash-proof Eyeliner Pen is great. It isn't completely waterproof though, but quite water resistant. I do think it is quite nice for the price and the jet black color looks great on the upper lash line. The packaging is very travel-friendly too!

Available at Ulta and online at ulta.com.

Have you tried the Essence Sun Club 100% Splash-proof Eyeliner Pen?

  2. I was given a sample of the splash proof eyeliner pen. I am very satisfied with it. When compared to MAC I can say it easy to apply. As fat as smudges I don't have that probl and it comes of easily with soapy water. Glad to know its only $3.50 at Ulta. I guess you know where I am going for my liner.
