BITE Beauty Agave Lip Mask

BITE Beauty's Agave Lip Mask ($26; sephora.com), is a leave on lip treatment that helps moisturize and heal dry, chapped lips overnight. Its a rather thick balm, so a little goes a long way with this tiny little tube. It is formulated without petrolatum and synthetic dyes and features a bio-active blend of organic agave nectar, jojoba oil, vanilla CO2 extract, and triple the amount of antioxidant trans-resveratrol found in red wine!

First off, the the packaging - its not the most travel-friendly or user-friendly, but if you aren't a fan of thicker balms in tubs, you'll like the small aluminum tube. Its a tad hard to get the product out of the tube and since it has a very emollient, sticky texture, only a teeny tiny bit is needed, but I end up getting more product than needed every time. I've been using this for more than a couple of weeks now and have yet to see any sort of cracks in the tube, like a lot of reviewers on Sephora's site have mentioned. But then, I've also been super cautious every time I squeeze to get the product out. The mask does just what its supposed to do - deeply moisturizes,  keeps my lips super soft and flake free, while adding a hint of a glossy sheen. I apply a thick layer overnight and absolutely love the results by morning. Its by far the best lip balm/treatment I've ever used that works on my chronically dry lips. There's also a subtle vanilla scent and sweet taste to it - not bothersome at all. Overall, if you are looking for moisture mask or a deep recovery treatment for your dry, chapped lips, do give BITE Beauty's Agave Lip Mask a try. It works well under lipsticks too - just be sure to blot off the excess and a teeny tiny bit over matte lipsticks keeps them from drying out too. Its quite a fabulous multipurpose product that I do plan to re-purchase once I run out.

Have you tried BITE Beauty's Agave Lip Mask yet?
