TOCCA Simone Eau de Parfum

"Sparkling notes of the tropical frangipani flower cut through the salt sea air, as Simone unfolds into creamy layers of watermelon, ylang ylang and blonde woods." *Press Sample

TOCCA's newest fragrance for Spring, Simone ($68; sephora.com), is a fresh, crisp, fruity floral that you just can't go wrong with for the warmer days ahead. Simone features a blend of Crisp Apple, Fresh Picked Watermelon, Lemon, Calypsone mixed in with notes of Ylang- Ylang, Rose Petals, Freesia, Musk and Amber! Simone is a simple composition that's light, very feminine, and just what I'd pick out for Spring and Summer.

It opens up with crisp notes of apple, watermelon and lemon - a perfect combination of fresh and sweet. The dry down is a much softer, slightly floral scent with a hint of creamy musk. Liliana from Tocca is another one of my favorite spring scents and while Simone isn't as strongly floral as Liliana, it still is one amazing fruity floral that I would wear quite a lot in the spring/summer months. Although a little more on the lighter side, Simone still manages to linger on for a good 5-6 hours on me. The packaging, like everything else from TOCCA, is just beautiful, elegant and among the prettiest bottles in my perfume collection. Overall, if you like lighter, fresher fruity florals without the extreme sweetness in the mix, do give Simone a try!
