Dior Vernis #618 Vibrato

Dior Vernis #618 Vibrato ($25; dior.com) is one of many shades Dior released as part of the their reformulated Gel Shine Long Wear Nail Polish line earlier this year. Vibrato is a rather hard to find shade which is a Dior Boutique exclusive, also available at certain counters and online at dior.com.

Vibrato is a shimmery, festive gold with teeny tiny gold specks that blend beautifully with the base. Its super shiny, quite opaque for something packed with shimmer and needs two coats for complete opacity. I love, love Dior’s new brush - its a tad wide, but curved enough that it applies almost perfectly along the cuticles which is always a problem with smaller nails like mine. Vibrato is a sort of shade that would look fabulous with any skin tone - its not too much of a yellow based gold and the shimmer is not too chunky or textured. There’s not too many brush strokes for this sort of finish either. The only problem though, is that it can enhance ridges and unevenness, if any. That apart, its a gorgeous polish absolutely worth getting from the Dior Nail Polish line!
