Quick Roundup Of A Few Makeup Classics I'm Loving from Josie Maran, Sally Hansen, Smashbox, Illamasqua and More

A few quick roundup of some recent makeup products I’ve tried and loved from Smashbox, Japonesque, Josie Maran and more!

Quick Beauty Reviews Smashbox, Josie Maran, Sally Hansen, Illamasqua and Japonesque

Josie Maran Coconut Watercolor Eyeshadow in Beach Sand ($18; sephora.com) and Argan Infinity Lip and Cheek Creamy Oil in Timeless Coral ($18; sephora.com) - Both very gorgeous colors, and great picks for dry skin. The Watercolor Eyeshadow is a tad shimmery, but beautiful on the lids and stays put for a good 4-5 hours. The Argan Infinity Lip and Cheek Creamy Oil is a buildable lip/cheek cream that I love more on my cheeks than on the lips. Both definitely must haves from Josie Maran.

Smashbox Studio Skin 15 Hour Foundation ($42; sephora.com) - Buildable coverage and super easy to blend. Its quite a hydrating foundation for combination/dry skin types and the finish is a satin matte with a little bit of sheen. The shade 3.1 is a good match for me, a tad warm, but the finish more than makes up for it.

Illamasqua Precision Gel Eyeliner in Infinity ($28; illamasqua.com) - Super jet black color, very pigmented and stays put throughout the day. Its fabulous for the lash lines and the finish is matte for the most part. I like to use a fine eyeliner brush for precision and since it is quite pigmented, a single stroke is all you need for a precise, sharp line!

Sally Hansen Complete Salon Manicure in Rose Glass, Leaf Peeper and Concrete Jungle ($7; target.com)  - Three beautiful colors for fall that I’ve had on rotation this month. The formula is fabulous, the brush is a tad too wide for me,  but easy to use. Rose Glass is a little on the sheer side and needs three coats while Leaf Peeper and Concrete Jungle need just two. They are all cremes and quite glossy even without a topcoat on.

Japonesque Velvet Touch Blush in Linen ($22; ulta.com) - A bronzy nude that is quite warm and nice to add a  little color to the cheeks. Its matte for the most part and blends beautifully without any patchiness. The packaging is beautiful too and I’ve used this quite a bit since the weather has started to cool down. It is quite pigmented and looks best when applied with a floppy blush brush.
