The Phytokeratine Extreme Mini Trio ($45; phyto.com) is a three piece haircare kit with three of Phyto’s haircare essentials for dry hair. They are travel sizes and the kit comes with a Phytokeratine Extreme Exceptional Shampoo, Mask and Cream. The Shampoo is a very nourishing, moisturizing shampoo that leaves hair super soft. You don’t need a condoner afterwards, so the mask is something I’d use after a clarifying shampoo. The mask is rather thick, but very hydrating and softening - my ends in particular looked very healthy after a few uses. The Extreme Exceptional Cream is a detangling, styling cream that I like while air drying and before styling. Its a lightweight cream that adds a lot of shine and bounce too. The trio when used together can make your scalp a little oily after a few washes, so I prefer using the mask separately. Overall though its a great kit and a nice way to try out Phyto’s Phytokeratine Extreme range.
