Guerlain makes some of the best luxury lipsticks and their newest KissKiss Shine Bloom Lipstick ($39; sephora.com) is a fabulous sheer-medium coverage lipstick with a shiny, creme finish. I picked up the shade Eternal Rose, which is a beautiful rose pink that goes on smooth and feels super comfortable on the lips. The packaging is very Guerlain and the formula does not disappoint. I do have to mention that the scent is quite strong - it is very floral and can be overwhelming for some. Eternal Rose is a great color for any skin tone as it evens out lip pigmentation nicely, providing a sheer wash of pink without any shimmer/glitter. The formula is quite hydrating and hugs the lips nicely without enhancing dry patches. It does feel balmy, has a nice slip to it and goes on super smooth. Like most sheer lipsticks, this one too lasts about 2-3 hours on me before fading completely. Overall, if you like sheer lipsticks with a hint of shine and Guerlain’s lipstick formula in general, I would recommend trying a shade or two.
