Some skincare discoveries that have been on rotation lately from Lancome, Youth To The People, Juice Beauty and More!

New Skincare Discoveries From Lancome, Youth To The People, Juice Beauty And More!

The Confort Hand Cream ($29; ulta.com) is new from Lancome, a lightweight, gorgeous smelling cream that I like to use during the daytime. Although I prefer richer hand creams for the nighttime, this is something I would recommend during the day or when the weather isn't very cold and is perfect to use on the go or while traveling. It has a sheer, invisible finish and does not leave greasy fingerprints and absorbs quickly. The formula features a blend of Acacia Honey, Rose Water and Shea Butter that helps moisturize. The scent is very calming, almost like a powdery rose without being too strong.

Youth To The People with their well edited selection of skincare is one of my favorite brands and I love their Superberry Hydrate + Glow Dream Mask ($48; youthtothepeople.com). It's a super rich, yet quick absorbing sleeping mask that helps brighten, exfoliate and adds a lovely glow. I use it as my nighttime moisturizer a few times a week and I love how radiant and smooth my skin feels the next morning. I use this about 3-4 times a week in rotation with my other skincare. The Pride Edition is available starting June 1 and donates 100% of profits from the purchase of this mask to diverse nonprofit organizations empowering LGBTQIA+ communities. This special edition also includes a pride sticker pack designed by LGBTQIA+ creatives and community builders. This limited edition mask is available exclusively on youthtothepeople.com

Fillerina is a brand that is new to me and I recently tried a few products from their Long Lasting Durable Effect range. The Day ($140; fillerinausa.com) and Night Cream ($140; fillerinausa.com) are both great for aging skin or if you are seeing wrinkles and fine lines early. I am in my late thirties and have these both in my skincare routine in rotation and use them 3-4 times in a week. The day cream also makes for a great makeup base and helps my makeup go on smooth while the night cream is a rich nighttime moisturizer that I use alone and don’t usually combine with other treatments. The formulations contain 12 hyaluronic acids with varying molecular weights to plump skin. Both the day and night cream have a plumping effect and help replenish and strengthen skin barrier.

The Omega+ Complex Cleansing Balm ($28; sephora.com) is a new launch from Paula’s Choice and my first ever product from the brand. I love to remove my makeup towards the end of the day with this one. I use a warm washcloth with this and also follow up with a second cleanser. It takes care of all my makeup, including waterproof eye makeup which is the most stubborn to get off. I also love the not so thick, yet balm like consistency and how it doesn’t dry my skin out.

The Better Skin Co. makes some really nice skincare and their Better Skin Klayzyme Mask ($34; thebetterksinco.com) is a quick, exfoliating mask that is recommended to be used 1-3 times a week, left on for about 3-5 minutes and rinsed off. It is quite a strong exfoliating treatment so I’d recommend using it at night, after your cleansing routine. It leaves skin super exfoliated, smooth and radiant. The Better Skin Mirakle Cream ($36; thebetterskinco.com) is a great, gentle everyday moisturizer that is for all skin types and can be followed up after the Klayzyme mask.

Juice Beauty makes some fabulous clean skincare and their Prebiotix Instant Flash Facial ($52; ulta.com) is an exfoliating mask and cleanser in one. I love quick, easy to use masks that multitask. The formula contains tiny beads that help physically exfoliate and also ingredients like that help balance and add a nice glow back to skin. It can be used as a cleanser or left on for about 1-2 minutes on the skin as an exfoliating mask. It is quite a strong mask and I would recommend this about once a week, especially if you have sensitive skin. As a cleanser, it leaves skin feeling soft and smooth.
