Gucci Beauty’s Poudre De Beauté Mat Naturel Beauty Setting Powder ($62; sephora.com) is a sheer, satin finish setting powder with a gorgeously creamy, smooth texture. It comes in 11 shades and is great as a setting powder to pair with sheer finish bases like lightweight foundations and tinted moisturizers. I love the packaging and the product comes with a sponge applicator that can be used for heavier application, but I prefer using a sheer powder brush. The shade 07 is a great match for my skintone and leaves a subtle sheen without making it too shiny. I have dry skin and found this powder to be a great since it doesn't have that powdery look most setting powders have. While I won’t call it even as medium coverage, I do like the way it looks overall, when topped off as the final step after makeup. It blurs a tad, but adds a subtle radiance and brightens without making it look like you added powder to set things in. Overall, while not a must have, it is nice to have as a beautiful setting powder that doesn’t flashback, oxidize or look too cakey. It is smooth, easy to blend and very natural looking.
