New Winter Skincare Discoveries From Youth To The People, Kiehl's, Honest Beauty and MyChelle

A quick roundup of some new skincare finds I’ve been loving lately. My skin has been super dry, flaky and very lackluster and these are some of the new skincare products I've incorporated into my skincare.

New Winter Skincare Discoveries From Youth To The People, Kiehl's, Honest Beauty and Mychelle

The Triple Peptide + Cactus Hydrating + Firming Oasis Serum ($54; sephora.com) is a new launch from Youth To The People and a very hydrating, layering serum. It can be used on its own too, but since it is winter, I use this after cleansing, before moisturizer. It is super moisturizing, easily absorbed and also has a beautiful texture that I absolutely love. The Superberry Dream Cleansing Balm ($34; sephora.com) is a fantastic cleansing balm that is smooth, feels luxurious and gets all my makeup off. It has a balm to oil texture that helps breakdown makeup. I use it with a warm washcloth and then follow up with a second cleanser. I have never been disappointed with anything from Youth To The People so far and these are no exception as well.

The Honest Beauty Calm + Renew Melting Eye Balm ($27.99; honest.com) is a super rich, yet quick absorbing eye balm. The texture is quite thick, but a little goes a really long way with this one. I love it under makeup as well and it helps with hydrating my under eye area, fine lines and makes me look less tired.

The Ultra Facial Overnight Hydrating Face Mask with 10.5% Squalane ($40; sephora.com) is an overnight hydrating moisturizer/mask from Kiehl’s. It has a thick texture that is perfect to be left on overnight. It is a thicker version of the classic Ultra Facial Moisturizer from Kiehl's which I use in my skincare routine on rotation during the day. It is also fragrance free and perfect for sensitive/dry skin types. I love this and would absolutely recommend it if you are looking for a great winter overnight moisturizer that is ultra hydrating.

Mychelle is brand new to me and I recently tried out a couple of their exfoliating skin care products. The Creamy Pumpkin Cleanser ($16; mychelle.com) is good as a second cleanser or on no makeup days. It doesn’t foam up, but cleanses nicely without leaving too much of a residue. It is slightly exfoliating and doesn’t strip skin of moisture. Incredible Pumpkin Peel ($25.50; mychelle.com) is a quick and easy exfoliator that helps brighten, exfoliate and renew skin. It is like a quick facial without the need for a harsh physical exfoliant or scrub. These products do leave skin feeling a tad sensitive, so I’d recommend following it up with a good moisturizer and sunscreen.
