The L’Absolu Rouge Lipstick Trio ($64;shop.nordstrom.com) is new from Lancome for the holidays and a fabulous full size lipstick trio featuring their bestselling lipstick formula. I love the packaging and the formula of these lipsticks and think they make for a great gift or even a stocking stuffer for any beauty lover. The set comes with full sizes of the Mademoiselle Amanda lipstick in a cream finish which is a nude pink that flatters light-medium skin tones, Merci Simone which is a matte plum in the Lasting Drama Matte formula and Rouge Pigalle, a warm red, also in the lasting drama matte formula. The mattes, although not too hydrating, aren’t drying and feel comfortably long lasting on the lips. They are pigment packed and leave a stain after the color fades away. The luminous creme finish, however, does feel hydrating and is medium coverage. Overall, this is a great luxury lipstick set and a nice way to try out the L’Absolu Rouge Lipstick formula as well!
