Recent Hair And Skincare Discoveries From Kiehl's, Coco and Eve, Aveeno, Neostrata and More!

A few of my recent skin and haircare finds I've been trying out with quick reviews!

The Neostrata 15% Vitamin C + PHA Serum ($55; dermstore.com) is one of my favorite skincare products at the moment. It's a super lightweight vitamin C serum with PHA. It helps even out skin tone and also exfoliate lightly. I use it a few times a week during the night, after cleansing my face and before moisturizer. It isn't sticky at all and feels super lightweight. It has helped even out my skin tone nicely and also adds a nice glow without drying my skin out.

A few things that I’ve been loving from 100 % Pure recently. Their Coffee Bean Caffeine Face Cream ($49; 100percentpure.com) is a lightweight face cream that works well even under makeup. It is lightly fragranced and will make for a great face moisturizer in the summer as well. If you have very dry skin though, you might need something richer. The Coffee Bean Caffeine Eye Cream ($29;100percentpure.com) is another great lightweight eye cream and great for the daytime if you need some extra moisture. The Apple Enzyme Exfoliating Cleanser ($32; 100percentpure.com) and Resurfacing Serum($49;100percentpure.com) are great, gentle exfoliating products. It's great for most skin types except very sensitive and does a great job of brightening and exfoliating skin.

Kiehl’s Ultimate Strength Hand Salve ($24; kiehls.com) is one of my favorite hydrating hand creams for winter. It is thick, rich and very hydrating especially during the colder season. It has a mild, medicinal scent and does take a while to absorb but does the job well. Kiehl’s also has a gorgeous Hydrating Hand Cream Holiday Gift Set featuring three of their hand creams on sale now as part of their holiday lineup which is a great way to try out this product.

Coco and Eve is brand new to me and I recently tried out a couple of their hair masks. They're both fabulous masks for dry ends and I like to use them once or twice a week. Both then Sweet Repair Hair Mask ($34; ulta.com) and Like a Virgin Hair Masks ($24; ulta.com) smell great and leave hair feeling soft and supple with a lot of shine. They don’t weigh down hair as long as they’re used once or twice a week.

Aveeno is one of my favorite drugstore brands for hair care. The Apple Cider Vinegar Blend ($7.99; target.com) range is a balancing and lightly clarifying hair care range for anyone with oily roots and dry ends. It also adds a lot of shine and bounce back to hair that looks lackluster. I would definitely recommend it if you are looking for a balancing shampoo and conditioner duo that cleanses gently without stripping hair of its natural oils.

Keratin Perfect makes some great haircare and their holiday travel edition of the Keratin Perfect Daily Smoothing Duo ($16; amazon.com) is a great way to try out the range, The Shampoo is more of an everyday shampoo that is lightweight, cleanses well and doesn’t dry out the scalp. The Conditioner is also a good detangler when followed up after the shampoo and doesn’t weigh hair down too much. These also smooth out hair greatly and make it more manageable.

Kopari’s Coconut Lip Glossy ($14; target.com) is a great lip balm with a super glossy shine. The formula is more of a thin gloss-balm that comes in a clear version which I love for day and nighttime and in a lightly tinted version for natural looking glossy nude lips. It's a great everyday lip balm and a little goes a really long way. This also looks great as a gloss topped over matte lipsticks.
