Kate Spade Live Colorfully ($95 for 3.4oz; shop.nordstrom.com) is a fresh, youthful, fruity floral with notes of Mandarin, Pink Water Lily, Star Anise, Tiare Flower, Golden Gardenia, Coconut Water, Sheer Amber, Musk and Tahitian Vanilla. The bottle is beautifully made and quite colorful as is everything else from Kate Spade. *Press Sample
I expected the opening to be quite heady looking at all those florals in the top notes, but it was quite zesty and a tad sweet. The dry down is just beautifully soft, creamy with a touch of musk and quite sophisticated. The scent itself reminds me of a less gourmand version of Elie Saab's Le Parfum L'Eau Couture, another one of my favorite fragrances. Its quite a long lasting scent on me - I could still get a whiff of the delicious vanilla at the end of a hot and humid day. Live Colorfully is among my favorite perfumes at the moment and I could wear it anytime from Spring to Fall!
