Wet n Wild Megalast Nail Color - Heatwave

Heatwave ($1.99) is a bright, summery reddish coral polish from the Megalast range by Wet n Wild. The megalast polishes are some of my favourite ones from the drugstore. They are very creamy, glossy and opaque in two coats. Not to mention the fantastic shade selection they have.

I had no problems applying this polish or with the formula itself. It just glides on, leaves no brush strokes and has a very nice consistency too. As for the color, Heatwave is perfect for summer and a great shade for toes as well. It did take a little longer to dry but, I really like how glossy the finish is. With a good topcoat on, I started seeing chips after 3-4 days. Not bad at all! My only gripe is the thick, fat "manicurve" brush they have. It is just too big for my nails and leaves a few streaks outside the nails and on my cuticles.

The bottle says these polishes are Toluene & DBP free but, according to the Wet n Wild website, they are 3-free.

What are your favourite shades from the Mega Last Nail Colors?

  2. This looks so nice and vibrant on your nails! I just bought a coupe of the Wet n Wild Mega Last polishes, I wasn't too impressed with their color selection, didn't seem too wide, but the formula of these is great as you said!
